Gentle Scar Therapy
What is Gentle Scar Therapy?

Scars are much like icebergs—what you see on the surface is only a small part of what lies beneath.
Beneath the skin, your body is held together by a vast, continuous sheet of connective tissue known as fascia. This fascia, located between the skin and muscles, wraps around your entire body like a complex web, affecting everything from your organ systems to how your muscles and bones function.
Restriction in one area of your fascia can cause pulling, discomfort or dysfunction in other areas and organs of your body. Fortunately, fascia responds well to gentle care. This is how Gentle Scar Therapy can successfully improve the feel and function of scar tissue and your body as a whole.
All scars can be treated:
- Big or tiny
- Anywhere on your body
- Any age of scar
It doesn’t matter how big or small your scar is, where it is in your body or whether your scar is recent or many years old. Gentle Scar Therapy can provide effective relief.

Does your scar cause any of the following:
- Pain
- Numbness
- Discomfort
- Itchiness
- Pulling or restriction
- Lifestyle changes
- Disruption to your usual activities
- Emotional upset
Your scar may also be associated with:
- Pain in lower back and other areas
- Reduced range of movement
- Period pain or irregularity
- Fertility issues
- Bowel and digestive problems
Can you relate to this?
What if I told you there is a way to help resolve all of these issues?
Imagine there’s a gentle, non-invasive way to address all these issues—no more constant discomfort or hidden worries stemming from your scar.
When I studied the Gentle Scar Therapy technique, I was blown away by the results. Many patients experience positive results after just 1 to 3 treatments. This may include:
- less discomfort
- reduced numbness
- improved mobility
- relief from period pain and bowel upsets
- increased confidence with the appearance of their scar.
Don’t let a scar hold you back any longer. Take control of your well-being and discover the difference Gentle Scar Therapy can make in your life.

Ready to experience the amazing effects of Gentle Scar Therapy?
Honestly, if you told me this was magic, I would believe you 😊
Sonya’s scar therapy was so gentle I was amazed to find after only one treatment that there was an immediate change in how it felt and looked. A few days later there was further improvement. My scar is hard to see now and nerve damage which was causing numbness has significantly improved. Amazing results which I could not be happier about.

Hi, I’m Sonya
I am passionate about helping people to feel better in their everyday lives. With a background in nursing and midwifery, I have a big focus on women’s health, especially pregnancy and new mums.
I was keen to learn more about the impact of caesarean scars on postnatal recovery, lower back pain, fertility and future births, especially planned VBAC’s (Vaginal birth after caesarean). So, I trained in gentle scar therapy and added that to my massage and aromatherapy offerings. And not just for caesarean scar treatments.
It was exciting to learn about the vast array of scars that can be successfully treated with Gentle Scar Therapy.

FAQ’s
How old can the scar be?
We don’t treat until 6-8 weeks post-surgery. But there is no rush! Scars can be treated no matter their age, up to many years later.
How soon do I see results?
Results vary from person to person and treatment to treatment. In most cases there is some immediate softening of the scar and surrounding tissue; improved range of movement; reduced discomfort or stiffness and a decrease in redness or raised areas of the scar.
How many treatments do I need?
Once again, this is case by case and depends on the symptoms you are feeling. You will feel very different with between 1- 6 treatments but an individual plan will take into account the impact of the scar, your choices and availability etc.
What type of scars can be treated?
Any scars can be treated: little or big, new or old, any type of scar, anywhere on the body.
